This privacy policy applies to symboltown.com ("the Site"). The Site is a search and copy tool for symbols and emoji, and all features are available without registration.

2. Information we collect

The Site has no accounts and does not collect names, phone numbers, ID numbers or any other personal identifiers, nor does it ask you to submit content.

To measure traffic and diagnose issues, the Site and third-party analytics services automatically record access logs, including: IP address (possibly truncated or anonymized), browser and device type, time of access, referring page and requested URL. The Site uses VibeCafe and httpnote to measure page views and traffic sources, so we can understand which content is useful. These services may set cookies or use similar technologies; their respective privacy policies govern that processing.

6. Promotional links

Some places on the Site link to other products we operate (for example, Nice Rim). Following those links takes you off the Site, where the destination site's privacy policy applies; we are not responsible for its content or data practices.

7. Data retention and security

Access logs are retained for the default period configured by our service providers and are deleted or aggregated afterwards. The Site is served over HTTPS and consists of static files; user-submitted data is not stored on our servers.

8. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
